Kailey began dancing when she was 3 years old doing Ballet and Tap with Miss Lindsay at Elite Dance Center. Since then, Kailey has expanded her passion of dancing from not only Ballet and Tap, but Pointe, Musical Theater, Contemporary and Hip Hop. She Auditioned for Team when she was 6 years old and has been apart of the team since. As an Elite team member she has made some great achievements. During the 2015-2016 season she received the Overall Technique Award from the Danza Competition and Overall Soloist for Nextar competition in her age category.
Kailey began Student teaching in 2015, and has enjoyed being a part of the classroom and sharing her joy with younger students. She plans on Continuing teaching and learning new techniques for dance.
Kelsey is proud to be an Elite Dancer! She has been studying dance since she was 3 years old, the last 4 years being at Elite Dance Center. As a member of both the Dance Team and the Performance Company, Kelsey studies many forms of dance including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theater, Acro and Hip Hop. Tap is her absolute favorite.
With her Tap routine, she won the Regional Title of Mini Miss Turn It Up 2014. This season she also earned a Dancer of the Year nomination from Dance America, and was on the National Dance Team for both Turn It Up Dance Challenge and Take Centerstage Dance Challenge.
Marissa joined Elite Dance Center in 2011 interested in taking a few classes. She currently studies dance 6 days a week. She joined Elite’s Dance Team for the 2013 season in which her solo placed 7th overall at Nationals. Marissa also assists with Elite’s children’s programs for ages 2-12. As a member of the Performance Company, she has had the opportunity to dance at Patriot’s Place as well as the Hatchshell in Boston.
Lindsay is 15 years old, and has been dancing since she was 4. She started at Elite in 2012 taking a contemporary class. Since then, Elite has become her second home. As a proud member of both the dance team and performance company, Lindsay studies all forms of dance, with her favorite being musical theatre.
This has been a very successful year for Lindsay. Last winter, she had the opportunity to perform in a production of The Nutcracker. Lindsay also performed with Triboro Youth theatre this summer in their production of Legally Blonde. In March, she was also a part of the Foxboro High School Drama Club’s production of The Music Man. Lindsay was also selected to be part of the Take Centerstage Dance Challenge National Dance team.
This is Lindsay’s third year teaching at Elite. She assists in teaching kids ranging in age from 3 to 9. She loves being able to help some of the youngest students at Elite with their dance training, and sharing her love of dance with them.
Abby has been performing since she was six. She was the youngest memberof the 2007-2008 cast of the national tour of the popular Broadway musical Annie which was directed by Martin Charnin. Over nine months, she traveled to over 39 states and 98 cities. She danced and sang in over 250 shows.
Since returning, Elite Dance Center has become Abby’s second home. Abby studies all forms of dance with Ms. Lindsay, with Tap being her favorite. In the 2 short years Abby has been competing, Miss Lindsay has helped her win national honors at the Spirit of Dance National Competition. She placed Overall High Score for her age division and was named the Title Winner, for top solo performer. Abby received honors at the Take Centerstage Dance Challenge National completion for her dance skills, character portrayal and energy.
Abby is a proud member of the Equity Membership Candidacy program and she is represented by RKS Management in New York City.
Neeve has studied and performed all genres of dance but is most well known for specializing in the American Art Form of Rhythm Tap Dance and is a member of the Boston Tap Company under the artistic direction of Sean C. Fielder.
As a member of Boston Tap, she was selected to perform at Symphony Space in New York City for Tap City’s 2009 production, Tap Youth/Tap Future. In addition she has performed at Tapestry 2009, The 2009 Urban Music Awards, the Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out Series 2008, The Beantown Tap Festival 2008, the 2008 Topsfield Fair, Boston Medical Center’s Halloween Town 2008 and the 2009 Salem State College Sojourner Truth Women’s Celebration Dinner.
As part of her commitment to Boston Tap, Neeve has also been a performer and educator at many schools throughout the Massachusetts area, spreading the history of rhythm tap and performing/demonstrating rhythm tap for children.
Neeve has been privileged to study rhythm tap and be coached in the art of improvisation by Sean Fielder, Dr. Harold “Stumpy” Cromer, Sarah Reich and Hillary-Marie Michael. In addition she has attended many dance conventions including Tap City 2009 as the recipient of a Gregory Hines Youth Scholarship, Chicago Human Rhythm World 2009 and the Washington DC Tap Festival 2009.
Neeve has been thrilled to take class from tap masters including Jason Samuels Smith, Michelle Dorrance, Chloe Arnold, Josh Hilberman, Derick K. Grant, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Kelley Kaleta, Carson Murphy and Jason Janus. Neeve hopes to one day share her love of rhythm tap by teaching and coaching others in this art form.
